The cast has not yet been chosen for season 25 of The Amazing Race, but producers could already be scouting potential locations for filming the newest adventures around the world.

'Amazing Race' New Air Time For Season 25?

While nothing is yet set in stone, producer Bertram Van Munster did an interview with TV5 in the Philippines On May 14 and hinted he may be in the area scouting locations for the newest season.

"We've been back to the Philippines several times," he said. "I thought it was high time we come back."

Brenchel 'Plays Dirty' In Season 24 Finale?

While the beginning of the interview appears encouraging for Season 25 of the show's U.S. edition, Van Munster was actually promoting the second season of The Amazing Race: Philippines, meaning the show wouldn't necessarily be going there for the U.S. edition.

However, in a CBS Connect chat interview via Twitter May 15, host Phil Keoghan answered fan questions about the show, and one in particular appeared to hint towards fan input playing a role in the upcoming season.

Andrew Cutler, a fan from Newfoundland, Canada, tweeted him and asked about the inclusion of landmarks on the show.

"#AskPhil You just mentioned wanting to visit Nepal on the show. But are there any famous landmarks you'd like to see," he asked.

"Landmarks...Famous Landmarks. Well, do you call Mount Everest a landmark? I guess you're talking more about other kinds of landmarks" Keoghan responded. "You know the Silver Ball at the South Pole? I'd love to go see that little ball and actually be at the South Pole.

"Famous Landmarks? Well, you know, we've been to so many," he continued. "Have we ever done anything with the Tower of Pisa? I don't think we've ever been to the Tower of Pisa...You've got some ideas Andrew? It sounds like you're a fan. Why don't you send some ideas for landmarks you don't think we've covered yet... Am I missing some landmarks? Let me know, because we can go there next season."

Though Keoghan's reply doesn't mean fans will get to pick specific landmarks, or that the show would eve receive permission to go to specific ones, several landmarks have appeared on the show multiple times, while others haven't appeared at all.

Whether natural or manmade, famous landmarks that haven't yet appeared on seasons of The Amazing Race have included The Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada; Big Ben, The Tower Bridge, White Cliffs of Dover, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey in England; The Louvre in Paris; The Parthenon and Coastline of Greece; Tower of Pisa and Piazza San Marco in Italy and The Kremlin in Russia.

The Race, which starts and ends in the U.S. has also featured some locations in the country itself, but hasn't yet gone to the Statue of Liberty or Empire State Building in New York, The Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles, The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco or Mount Rushmore in South Dakota to name a few.
