A drunk man in China attacked a woman by chewing her face like "crazy," and the victim had to be taken to the hospital, according to Chinese media.

A bus driver identified as "Dong" rushed onto a street in Wenzhou City of Zhejijang Province and blocked the vehicle of a female driver identified as "Du," according to the Shanghai Daily.com.

The man climbed on the car's hood and started hitting the windshield while Du screamed inside. She got off the car and the man tackled her and started gnawing on her face, according to the report.

Witnesses tried to pull the man away but they couldn't because he was going "Crazy," according to the report on June 29.

When police arrived they stopped the man and arrested him.

The woman was taken to a local hospital and would need plastic surgery to repair her nose and lips, according to the report.

Police said the man was heavily drunk.

This is the latest incident of individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol, eating a victim's face.

The incidents are dubbed "zombie attacks" by many media outlets.

In May, a man identified as Rudy Eugene made international headlines when he chew off a man's face in Miami, Florida.

Eugene reportedly teared the victim's skin in an attack first blamed on a powerful drug dubbed "bath salts." However a recent report from authorities found no bath salts in Eugene's body.

The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department said the man only had used marijuana.

Another man named Carl Jacquneaux in Scott, Louisiana, bif off a neighbor's face.
