Though a fourth season appeared to have been confirmed by the cast's attorney, the cast of Discovery Channel's Amish Mafia continues to be cryptic about the possibility they would return for a fourth season of the show.

John Schumucker was recently sentenced to three months in prison for receiving 10 violations for driving with a suspended license, and after his sentencing, attorney Steven Breit inadvertently confirmed the cast was filming episodes for season four. However, Esther has since been cryptic about whether or not the show would return.

"Everything will fall into place. Be patient," she wrote on her Facebook page May 23.

It is unclear if Esther was simply giving advice to fans, or if she was trying to tell them that the show would be back if they were willing to wait for it.

Her post coincided with the news of her brother's conviction and proposed jail sentence.

Outside the courtroom after the verdict was handed down May 21, Breit confirmed to Lancaster Online that John's sentencing wouldn't affect his appearance on the show, which he said was filming its fourth season at the time.

"I've been assured they will be able to work around this," Breit said. "The show will continue."

Production crews were even present at the courthouse, though they only filmed outside the front doors and did not appear inside.

Meanwhile, the official Amish Mafia Facebook page also teases that the cast could still potentially not be returning for a new season, posting a photo of Mafia member Caleb and quoting his angry outburst that was caught on Discovery's cameras during the season 3 finale.

"Last time we saw him, Caleb said 'Our biggest mistake was letting English people into our lives.' What do you think?" the photo was captioned.
