Glee star Lea Michele appears to slowly be bringing herself back into the dating pool nearly a year after the death of her co-star and real life boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

Us Weekly reports that the 27-year-old actress and singer is quietly dating Matthew Paetz, who she met on the set of her On My Way music video back in April.

"She had just come from Coachella where she was missing Cory terribly," a source told the magazine. "[The video shot] was a big party and a really therapeutic moment for her."

Lea Michele 'A Little Bit More Back Together' Following Cory Monteith Death?

This is Michele's first relationship since Monteith's July 13, 2013 death in Vancouver from a mixed drug toxicity of heroin and alcohol. Since then, Michele and her fellow Glee cast members have done several tributes to him on the show, and she has released a debut album with two songs devoted to him, titled You're Mine and If You Say So.

Michele has also been extremely vocal about how much Monteith meant to her, saying that the grieving process was extremely difficult, but she knew Monteith was watching over her.

"We talked about a lot of things. We talked about children and what we would like when we grew old and who would be fat and how we would stay thin. We talked about where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. We were done. We were it," she said in an interview with Glamour UK in February. "When you're at that place in your life with someone, you talk about everything. But today I feel I was given the best part of Cory and I'm thankful for that."

She also revealed at the time that she had been slowly putting the piece of her life back together, and would eventually date again.

"Now I feel a little bit more back together, and I have this blank canvas in front of me, which is what my life can be. There's something sad about that but also something good, because I will take that blank canvas and make something beautiful out of it," she said at the time. "...I feel like it's so important to make sure that I'm 100% OK before I can get into a relationship. But people have to understand that I can't be alone forever. Cory wouldn't want that."

Paetz, who according to his Twitter bio is an L.A. based lifestyle and dating coach, reportedly has a somewhat sordid history. TMZ reports that he has been a male gigolo for the website Cowboys4Angels, charging $350 per hour for his companionship services. His price reportedly even went up to $6,000 for an entire weekend and $17,500 for a whole week. He has reportedly become unavailable to women and has gone on hiatus from the work since hooking up with Michele.

Neither Michele nor Paetz has denied or confirmed the rumors.
