It looks as though Andi Dorfman might be trading in her life as an assistant district attorney in Atlanta to be a Hollywood celebrity instead. The 27-year-old George native apparently put in her resignation at the Fulton County District Attorney's office where she worked prior to being on The Bachelorette, so she can concentrate on the show and her celebrity status instead.

Even with her abrupt departure, it looks as though Dorfman can still return to her own job just in case her new celebrity career doesn't take off as planned. Her prosecutor's office had nothing but positive remarks for the television star, according to gossip site TMZ. Still, this isn't stopping Dorfman from her new goal to be a reality television star instead.

"I have a great life. I just don't have anyone to spend it with," Dorfman said after leaving The Bachelor back in March, "I love my job, but my job is not my top priority. I'm ready to find my husband. I'm ready to fall in love, to meet the man of my dreams."

Still, Dorfman admitted that it would be very hard for her to quit her job so she can continue filming The Bachelorette.

"I worked really hard to get where I am, and it's something I'm very proud of," she said. "But at the end of the day if I don't have someone to share that with - someone to share my accomplishments and even defeats with - it doesn't mean anything to me."

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8:30 p.m. EST/PST on the ABC network.
