Philadelphia is about to celebrate Independence Day with a number of memorable events, involving music, movies and a good haul of fireworks.

4th Of July Events In Los Angeles

There will be some big performances taking place at Great Plaza at Penn's Landing on July 1 where Philadelphia Orchestra Neighborhood Concert will happen. According to Visit Philly, this will be a free concert.

That same day, there will be a fitness program at Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse. This is where families can get together for a great exercise with plenty of room, stretching at 6.5 acres. Kids might also find some fun since the first 200 will receive a free book.

4th Of July Events In New Jersey

There will also be a movie event that day at Rittenhouse Square where The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be shown.

On July 4, there will be a Super Scooper All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream Festival for anyone who has a sweet tooth. This event will last up to July 6.

Some other big parties that will take place on July 4 include a massive party on Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This will involve live music, food, games and several other types of activities for family, friends, couples and more.

If anyone is heading to 6th and Chestnut streets, there will be an Independence Day Parade in the morning. This celebration will consist of more than 5,000 people who will be walking down the streets to show off their political and charismatic side to honor America's birthday.
