Williams remains highly responsive to his online fan base, regularly reposting fan drawings sent in via Twitter of his most popular characters, including Omar from HBO's The Wire and Chalky White from Boardwalk Empire.

With the anything-can-happen mentality of the prohibition series, along with the fact that it is the program's last season, some fans are naturally worried about the fate of their favorite characters.

"If Chalky dies I'm running thru the streets of NYC, NAKED (seriously)" wrote @superstar08 on Twitter this past week. Williams responded nonchalantly to the fear and has urged fans not to worry too ardently, though he has yet to comment on the fate of his character. He has confirmed that Boardwalk Empire will be moving a few years ahead into the 1930s this season. It has yet to be determined how The Great Depression will influence his character, who is still reeling from the event of season four.
