The MTV drama wrapped work on its fourth season on June 30, but the series may already a have a fifth season lined up. Based on a recent release from the California Film and Tax Credit program, the Variety has reported that Scott and his pack will not disappear from TV screens after the summer.

Teen Wolf will receive $11.5 million in tax credit for production completed in the 2014-2015 fiscal year as long as work starts before the end of 2014, according to Variety.

However, this allocation does not mean the series has to go through with a fifth season, despite having the monetary incentive to do so. Neither MTV, nor Teen Wolf, nor any of the cast has mentioned a fifth season. Considering the fourth season only premiered on June 23, the network will probably continue to look at ratings through the summer.

In the meantime, Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack will continue to fight the mysterious Benefactor and Kate Argent (Jill Wagner).
