While talking to Capital FM, the hit producer said he thinks he has a 1D single ready to go after working with Zayn Malik recently. "We've done something with him that might be a One Direction single," Naughty Boy teased. "It sounds like them and it sounds like me."

Naughty Boy confirmed that Malik and singer Emeli [Sande] wrote it with him. The producer also said how much he believes in Malik and his music skills, even his rapping ones. "I'm encouraging him to be a great songwriter and sing great songs," Naughty Boy said backstage at the recent Wireless Festival. "The rapping is a hobby. It's the same thing with him."

One Direction has been working on their next album for a while now, with each member doing their own thing separately, as well as being on tour together. "They're all becoming like their own unique person, so I think that's when you'll get the best songs," Naughty Boy said. The 1975 previously said they also worked with 1D in the studio on their next album. "I went into the studio with them and we started to work on one track," Matt Healy told Digital Spy. "They were asked to list who they wanted to work with on the next album, and we were one of the people they chose."

One Direction is currently on their overseas Where We Are tour, with the boys next stop being Madrid.
