One of the actors from Nashville released some details that could happen in the third season, including the possibility of Gunnar and Scarlett getting back together.

Season 3 Premiere Is 'Emmy Worthy?'

On Thursday, Metro posted an interview with Sam Palladio (Gunnar) who mentioned that despite his character having a new relationship with Zoe, the flame isn't totally over with Scarett. This could eventually lead to the two making new music together or possibly something more.

"I think the two characters have had a deep connection that music is the catalyst of, so no matter what happens in their personal lives, when they come together and sing, that spark gets ignited again," Palladio said.

"The fans love the two characters together and I'm sure that they will in one way or another come back together at least as musical partners," the actor continued. "Whether it's anything more than that, we can leave that to the fans to speculate."

Palladio also talked about what could happen if Gunnar writes any music with Juliette. Considering that she has a reputation for taking things a bit too far with her male partners, Gunnar could be next on the list.

"That is true! I've got to have my wits about me!" the actor said. "I think if they make her sleep with any more of the characters in the cast that it will be a bit farcical so hopefully she has learnt her lesson!"

Nashville Season 3 is expected to premiere on Wednesday, September 24 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
