While country singer Blake Shelton may have a harsh word or two for his critics, he has nothing but compliments for his wife, fellow country artist Miranda Lambert.

Lambert's boutique shop the Pink Pistol has apparently done well since it first opened in Shelton's hometown of Tishomingo, Okla. in 2012. In fact, it has been so successful that the singer is opening two more stores, one in her own hometown of Lindale and one in Nashville.

Shelton couldn't be prouder, not only of his wife's success, but also what her work has done for others.

Blake Shelton Disses Haters On Social Media

"I think it's great what it's done for the community and the people there love it..." admitted Shelton in Taste of Country. "If you could have seen a picture of downtown Tishomingo four years ago and see it now, it would blow your mind. It's unbelievable."

Shelton added that Lambert went into the "ghost town" and did something "amazing."

While Tishomingo may be Shelton's hometown, he isn't taking any of the credit for its transformation. "It's my wife..." he insisted, "It's [the Pink Pistol] changed people's lives in that area. I mean, in a town that there was basically no jobs, it really has turned it around."

Lambert isn't stopping with her Pink Pistol stores. She's already working to set up a bed and breakfast and continues to go around the country promoting her Platinum tour. Shelton is currently in the process of completing a new album.
