It seems like a short ways away until the first part of the final installment of the Hunger Games franchise will be hitting theaters. It also looks like the events of the last movie, Catching Fire, will have a major impact on the psyche of the main hero, Katniss Everdeen, moving forward.

New 'Hunger Games' Teaser Trailer Brings Everyone Under The Mockingjay

So far, the marketing campaign has been designed around a more subliminal messaging system with President Snow (Donald Sutherland) speaking with "the people of Panem" about not rebelling and following the government's rule.

Beside him is Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Johanna (Jena Malone) who were captured at the end of Catching Fire and look to be his examples to those who feel like the rebels are leading. The glazed looks on their faces tell that they are unable to show any emotion and their situation is dark at the moment.

New Rebellion Poster For 'Hunger Games' Unveiled At Comic-Con

In the most recent trailer, it offered the first glimpse of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) who is clearly feeling the ramifications of the events of Catching Fire. She looks timid, unsure, and almost a little beat by her new role as "the Mockingjay" and it looks like she will be using this movie to try and gain the confidence needed to defeat President Snow and the government.

The next chapter in the Hunger Games franchise will also introduce President Coin, the underground leader of District 13, who will be played by Julianne Moore. Natalie Dormer, most recently seen in Rush and Game of Thrones, will play Cressida, a gutsy TV director who follows Katniss into battle against the capitol, with Elden Henson and Wes Chatham playing her two cameramen, Pollux and Castor, and Evan Ross as her assistant Messalla.

Mahershala Ali of House of Cards and Treme, will play Boggs, a military bodyguard tasked with protecting Katniss.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a script by Danny Strong. The film stars Jennifer, Liam Hemsworth, Hutcherson, Malone, Sutherland, Jeffrey Wright, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci, Sam Claflin, and Moore.
