While it isn't until 2016, Captain America 3 is still on the forefront of everyone's minds after the second installment blew many people away. The writers of the upcoming feature talked recently about who they would like to see fight the Captain, and it looks like two names have popped up the most.

Could Captain America Die In 'Avengers 2'?

Speaking with Comic Book Movie, writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely spoke about what they wanted to do next with Captain America and some of the villains they felt he was ready to face.

"That's a little tricky because some of them are theoretically very good. Some of them have great concepts but are really tough to pull off visually," Markus said.

Is Steve Rogers No Longer Captain America? Is A Familiar Face Taking Over?

"Like Flag-Smasher who wants to destroy nations, and that's a terrorist and seems like a guy you could work with, but he literally has a cape and flies on flying skies, and then you're like, 'Ok, do we take away everything?' and then he's just a guy and we're not fully portraying the character. They're tricky to bring across."

Flag-Smasher is an interesting choice, but Markus drops another name that could be even more crazy for the movie.

"I always wanted to do Modok, but it seems like we're leaving our grounded political arena way behind when you've got a giant floating head on a rocket chair," Markus said. "I'll do it one day, I'm telling you people!"

Having Modok in a movie would be a change of pace for the Marvel movies, mainly because of the obscure way he looks. But with Thanos entering the fold, it wouldn't be too different to have Modok enter also. Not to mention he is one of Marvel's big villains and it is about time he found his way into the universe.

Captain America 3 is set to be released on May 6, 2016.
