It should be a happy day in Port Charles, but the impending wedding of two characters is the last thing most of the people in town want on General Hospital.

Levi Warns Maxie He Could Go To Prison

Levi (Zachary Garred) hasn't made a good impression on anyone, and thanks to a visit from a an immigration agent, his ability to stay in the U.S. was greatly compromised-which convinced Maxie (Kirsten Storms) to marry him, which would allow him to remain in Port Charles. Her decision wasn't one that really met a lot of love-and no, Maxie herself may be thinking twice about it.

As she prepares for her big day, she begins to have second thoughts, which causes her mother, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) to try and change her mind last minute.

Nina Urges Nathan To Fight For Maxie

"There's still time to call off the wedding," she tells her daughter in a preview clip for the Friday, August 8 episode.

However, even if Maxie chooses to go through with the wedding, the festivities could be interrupted, after Nathan (Ryan Paevy) finally admits to his feelings for her-and decides to share them with her father, Mac (John J. York)-Levi's biggest critic.

"I have feelings for your daughter," Nathan says.

His confession could spur Mac to convince him to stop the wedding-and whisk Maxie away from Levi for good.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
