Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has four children, including the newly married Brooke, but a new report says that Richards actually had custody of another child.

On Monday, Radar Online reported that Richards had custody of Casey Johnson's toddler Ava-Monroe in 2009. At the time, Johnson was checking into rehab.

"Casey . . . turned Ava over to Kathy [Richards'] sister Kim, who had her own long history of alcohol addiction," author Jerry Oppenheimer said in his book Crazy Rich: Power, Scandal, and Tragedy Inside the Johnson & Johnson Dynasty.

Oppenheimer said that Johnson's mom Sale Rashad approved of the arrangement because at the time Richards was sober. Richards later checked in to rehab herself in 2011. Ava-Monroe apparently started calling Richards "mommy," which made Johnson angry.

"Casey went ballistic and said to Kim, 'Give me my kid back! What do you mean she's calling you mommy, I'm her mommy!'" a source said. Johnson then had her friend Jasmine Lennard take her daughter from Richards.

Johnson later died in 2010, while Richards is clean and sober today. Richards' daughter Brooke just got married in August. On Monday, Kim also posted a post-wedding photo of the two and wrote, "Enjoying a special moment with my beautiful daughter aka Mrs. Wiederhorn @brookewiederhorn ! I love my Brookie."

Richards' sister Kyle Richards was also at the wedding.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to come back this fall on Bravo.
