While Vin Diesel is charming audiences with his voice work as the scene-stealing Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, the actor has taken to social media to tease yet another role within the Marvel canon.

Taking to his Facebook page on Saturday, the actor showed a picture of his character Groot, but also teased a line that connects with another Marvel property.

"I get the strange feeling that Marvel thinks I'm Inhuman... Haha," Diesel said. Could the Fast & Furious star be linked to play a role in an Inhumans adaptation?

According to The Wire, The Inhumans race was introduced in the 1960s Fantastic Four comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and remains an important cornerstone of the Marvel comic book universe to this day. They're a genetically-advanced alien race of superpowered humanoids created aeons ago by the Kree (the blue dudes who claim Guardians' main villain Ronan the Accuser as their own) who hang out on a secret part of the moon.

This isn't the first time the Inhumans had come up as even creator Lee talked about having the property hit the big screens and Diesel has talked about doing something with it as well. While the property may seem obscure, so did Guardians, and having a stable presence like Diesel at the head of the cast could make it seem more marketable.

The Wire speculates that Diesel could be playing Black Bolt, the king of the Inhumans. According to the site, Black Bolt's powers reside in his voice, if he ever speaks, he produces enough energy to level a city, so he mostly stands silent and points at people, wearing a very cool costume while he does it.

Diesel can next be seen in Fast & Furious 7, which opens in theaters next year.
