TV host and Instagram celebrity Melanie Iglesias is another famous person who has accepted the ice bucket challenge, which is supposed to help raise awareness for ALS.

Melanie Iglesias Shows How Much She's In Love With Ryan Guzman

Iglesias posted the video on her Instagram page on Saturday where she takes a bag of ice and pours it into a bucket. She gives off some nervous gestures as she pours it in and says, "Oh my goodness." Another girl then comes by and picks the bucket up. Iglesias covers her eyes as the bucket gets turned upside down and all the cubes and water nearly drown the model. She screams and jumps around as the girl with the bucket just smiles.

A number of other celebrities have accepted the ice bucket challenge, including Martha Stewart, Emmy Rossum and Jimmy Fallon. But according to The Huffington Post, the ice bucket challenge is actually not that helpful.

Lisa Rinna Accepts ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The site mentioned that when this challenge began, it was that the person either had to participate or he or she had to donate $100. But with all that's being spent on ice, buckets, bags and even more ice when mistakes are made in the video, this doesn't create philanthropy.

"Due to all of this, you've internally placed a monetary value on the cost of goods, the time spent and for posting on your social channels," the site reads. "This monetary value has little long term effect and next time you're thinking of donating to a charity or for a cause, you might think back to that time you created a video."
