Blake Shelton's new album Bringing Back the Shine won't be released until next month, but the country music star did give fans a taste with his latest single, Neon Light.

The single hits radio waves this week and with 11 number one hits in a row, the singer certainly has a reputation to uphold.

With all the buzz surrounding Shelton's new album, the media magnet is drawing even more attention than usual and he's been trying to control his temper.

"I've really got to work on ignoring haters on here… S---. This calls for a drink!!" declared Shelton on Twitter Friday. The country singer is known for making somewhat vulgar comments via social media regarding his haters, informing them of the place he thinks they should shove various handles.

Shelton's contempt for gossip is no secret. His relationship with fellow country singer Miranda Lambert has been under constant scrutiny since their marriage in 2011, and the rumors regarding children, divorce, and cheating have taken an emotional toll on the couple.

Lambert released her new album Platinum back in June and with Shelton's record coming out soon, combined with each singer's overwhelming success, tthe pair will likely be up against one another come award season.

Bringing Back the Shine is scheduled to be released September 30.
