McRollins fans can breath a sigh of relief, there is a chance that Catherine Rollins may return to Hawaii Five-0 during season 5.

Steve McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) longtime girlfriend is currently traipsing through Afghanistan in search of an old friend's kidnapped son, but Rollins' (Michelle Borth) present storyline must come to an end eventually.

When it does, the CBS drama would do well to bring the former Navy Lieutenant back for an episode in lieu of an off-screen conclusion.

"I'm definitely hoping to get [Michelle Borth] back, but I'm not sure when that will happen," said executive producer Peter M. Lenkov, according to TV Line. "But there will be some type of closure."

Meanwhile, McGarrett won't be raring to jump into a new relationship right off the bat. McRollins is still technically an item, but it is unknown how long the couple will be willing to hold onto their long-distance relationship.

"We're playing a little bit of McGarrett mourning that relationship," Lenkov continued. "Catherine is still [away] 'doing the right thing' and he understands that, but he's heartbroken."

Poor Steve. At least he will have Wo Fat to take his mind off his troubles.
