While some of the actors from 2012's Magic Mike continue to talk about their returns to the film franchise for the XXL sequel scheduled to hit theaters next year, one big face from the first movie continues to make hints he may not be returning.

Joe Manganiello Practicing Stripped Moves On Sofia Vergara?

Alex Pettyfer, who was the second-billed male lead in the first film, hasn't publicly confirmed whether or not he'd be in the sequel-but if pre-movie preparation including workouts and making sure he keeps to a strict diet are the sign that he's preparing for the movie again, then the 24-year-old has virtually told fans he won't be back.

Instead of preparing for a new role, he has been out and about in different towns, partying and having a good time-but has not been spotted trying to get into shape for a return to the role of a stripper.

Instead, Pettyfer was spotted in Las Vegas just last week, catching Britney Spears' Axis Powered by Monster show at Planet Hollywood, before celebrating friend Joe Jonas' birthday at the Beacher's Madhouse nightclub at the MGM Grand -drinking champagne and tequila in the company of his girlfriend, Marloes Horst, Jonas, his younger brother, Nick and his girlfriend, Olivia Culpo.

Meanwhile, Matt Bomer, who previously confirmed his return to the sequel film, caught up with Extra's Mario Lopez and Tracey Edmonds on the red carpet at the 2014 Emmy's to talk about the movie-and while he did say they would need to talk to Channing Tatum for more specific details about the film, he admitted he was impressed with what he'd heard about it so far.

"I can't really give too much away, you'll have to ask Channing about all that stuff," he said. "But I think we got, I was really impressed with what they came up with for the sequel. I think it's going to surprise people in some really fun ways...they came up with some really fun stuff."
