Hannibal's Alana Bloom was the last to see Dr. Lecter for the devil he really is, but Caroline Dhavernas' character is expected to come back stronger than ever.

Why Didn't Alana Bloom See Dr Lecter's True Identity? Caroline Dhavernas Explains

Bloom took a tumble from a second story window for her misplaced trust, and her ultimate fate has yet to be revealed. However, whether she returns in a dream or in reality, the psychiatrist will quickly shed her old personality.

"I don't know what state she's going to be in," Dhavernas said, according to Digital Spy. "I know that she will be a changed woman, because what happened to her was so intense."

If Alana does survive the events of "Mizumono," Dhavernas believes she will leave the FBI behind. If Dr. Bloom does plan to go after Hanni (Mads Mikkelsen) in an unofficial capacity, she will need to make sure the good doctor can't pull the wool over he eyes so easily.

"I know that she will be stronger - she's always had a quiet strength, but now I think she might have to protect herself a little more," Dhavernas told Digital Spy. "It'll be fun to play a harder version of Alana."
