Hannibal's Alana Bloom will switch up her playbook in season 3, but only if she survives the events of "Mizumono."

Will The Stag Return? Bryan Fuller Explains Images' FateOn 'Hannibal'

Alana has been confirmed to appear in season 3, but actress Caroline Dhavernas doesn't know if she will appear in real time or as a flash back. Pushed out the window by her former patient and oblivious to Hannibal's true nature for far too long, the psychiatrist will need to reevaluate her life if it hasn't already been snatched away.

"I think Alana will be completely changed in season 3 with everything that happened, and I think she's going to start working very differently," Dhavernas told Seat 42F at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. "I mean, that's my feeling, I don't know what Bryan feels or what he's writing right now, but logically, for me, she would probably say to her self, 'I can't follow my instinct anymore. I can't go by the rules anymore because obviously the FBI is not solid enough or wise enough to prevent everything that happened. So she's probably going to go cowboy style, do her own thing now."
