Romance could soon begin coming back into the air in Salem, as the recent rash of nasty fights and breakups that have been plaguing the town's couples may finally see an end on Days of Our Lives.

Jennifer Offers Eve A Deal

J.J. (Casey Moss) and Paige (True O'Brien) had finally found some level of happiness in their relationship before their mothers became entangled in a major lawsuit. Since then, Paige's mother, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) has tried to sneakily get her daughter to end things with Jennifer's (Melissa Reeves) son-particularly after Paige informed her mother she would defer her admission to Stanford for a year-but has had no success.

Her most recent scheme, which included having her sister-and J.J.'s ex, Theresa (Jen Lilley)-talking to Paige, also backfired.  However, when Theresa happens to catch Paige and J.J. together again, and this time, in a compromising position, it could be the fuel Eve needs to end the romance and get her daughter across the country for college-which would also free her to wreak more havoc with her lawsuit. However, the battle ahead could still be a tough one for her, as the young couple is genuinely in love with one another.

Jordan Slaps Kate For Sleeping With Rafe

Meanwhile, Jordan (Chrishell Stause) and Rafe (Galen Gering) were one of the couples to suffer from the rash of break-ups in town, after Rafe admitted that he had slept with Kate (Lauren Koslow) when he was dealing with his sister going to prison. Jordan learned the news after finally confessing the secrets of her past to her detective beau-making his revelation even more heartbreaking, and causing her to end things.

Now, Jordan will come face-to-face with her former love once again, to ask him a huge favor. And considering the chemistry between the two, things could potentially take a romantic turn for them once more.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
