Covert Affairs is about to have some crazy changes with a potential new romance as well as what's next for Ryan after the intense summer finale.

'Covert Affairs' Annie's Love Interest Chatter

On Tuesday, TV Line posted an interview with executive producers Matt Corman and Chris Ord who dished on what's going to be taking place ever since a big spoiler happened in the last episode. It turns out that was Ryan was framed and shot, leaving speculation on what that means for him. As for the chances of him dying, the producers remained coy about that.

"Well, you don't want to give it away, right?" Corman said with a laugh.

Considering that Ryan is a big character on the show, it would seem doubtful that he would be killed off. But fans might want to prepare just to be safe- even if Ryan will be taken in for help.

"Well, you never know on Covert Affairs. But he's getting good medical care," Corman said. "But he was shot...I think he's in stable condition when we find him."

Another random storyline that's taking place on the show is what's going to happen between Annie and Auggie. It looks like they will remain friends and the chances of them becoming something more is definitely a possibility.

"That relationship's the bedrock of our show," Ord said. "There's so much between them that is meaningful that's always going to be there, whether they're just simply working together or doing more together."
