While one new team has already been teased for the next Captain America movie, could a completely new one also work its way into the plot after their revelation during the finale of the next Avengers movie?

'Captain America 3' Could Feature A New Team To Help The Hero

Bada-- Digest revealed that there could be another team of heroes joining up with Captain America at the end of Avengers 2, which features Captain Marvel as one member of the new squad. But could this team come into play in the next Captain America movie or is it solely for future standalone or Avenger films?

It is possible to bring some of the characters in for cameos in the next Captain America movie even thought the prime team will consist of most likely Cap, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, and the Winter Soldier.

But Captain Marvel could make another appearance as some sort of reinforcement for the team as they go to fight their next villain.

One rumored villainous name has been Modak, which the movie's screenwriters have teased as a foe they want to have in a Marvel movie. If Modak is featured in the next Captain America movie, the ramifications of his actions could lead to Cap needing help from Captain Marvel and some of the other members of the new team.

Either way, with their introduction in the next Avengers movie, a short stint to show off their powers and abilities would help to acquit audiences with these new faces even though it may not be necessary.

Captain America 3 is set to open in theaters on May 6, 2016.
