The press release for the first episode of the tenth season of Fox's Bones has been released and it seems that the next case for the Jeffersonian team may be the key to the conspiracy that landed Booth (David Boreanaz) in jail.

'Bones' 200th Episode Set To Be 'A Day In The Life' Of Booth, Brennan & More Characters

Fox formally announced Thursday that the Season 10 premiere of Bones will be called The Conspiracy in the Corpse.

"Brennan [Emily Deschanel] and the Jeffersonian team are desperately working to get Booth out of jail, clear his name and absolve him of crimes he did not commit," the release says. "The remains of a man who has been dead 16 years could be the point of origin in the entire government conspiracy that ultimately put Booth in jail. Meanwhile, Booth is faced with a challenge from a new and politically ambitious FBI agent (guest star John Boyd). As he awaits trial, Booth also realizes that many of the convicts with whom he is locked up are criminals he put in there, and Daisy [Carla Gallo] and Sweets [John Francis Daley] have a surprise for the rest of the Jeffersonian team."

Booth landed in jail after shooting three members of the Delta Force as he was in the midst of connecting the Ghost Killer case with the FBI. It appears that Booth will be met with the ghosts of his past while in jail and it will likely be a fascinating turning of tables as he joins the many criminals he put in prison.

Bones Season 10 premieres Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
