It looks like you never know who you might run into while shopping at your favorite Target department store. Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston revealed that she did just that, but fortunately for the actress no one recognized her.

The 45-year-old beauty made the revelation to E! Online while promoting her latest film, Cake, at the Toronto International Film Festival. She said that she was still in character while she went shopping and that it was "liberating" to be glamour free while picking up a few groceries and household items.

She told the website on Wednesday, "We were shooting a night shoot...and we decided what the hell, let's strut on into this Target and see what happens. Nobody recognized me! It was pretty awesome."

Aniston added, "Actually, people felt sorry for me more than anything."

Just recently, Aniston has also opened up about her "dream role" in Cake. She said that while she appreciates the opportunity to play a different character than what she's normally used to, she also noted it was a physically and emotionally tough role to take on. Also starring Anna Kendrick and Sam Worthington, Aniston plays a character who is in massive chronic pain and addicted to painkillers and alcohol.

The actress opened up about the character she plays to the Boston Herald on Tuesday, "She basically has to decide whether she wants to live or die. The woman's journey is so heartbreaking but so uplifting, because she's gone through a trauma but maintains her wit, which is very endearing."

The film made its first premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this past Monday.
