Duff is getting ready to released her fifth album soon, but she could be holding out hope One Direction's Harry Styles may join her on a track.
Duff revealed to MTV Tuesday that she has an unfinished duet that she needs a partner for. Duff revealed she wrote a duet, but she hasn't found anyone for the song yet.

"It's about being in New York and meeting someone, like, standing in the rain trying to get a cab, when you're basically going to fight for a cab and you're either going to join forces or you're going to fight to the death," Duff revealed about the song. "Well, this one is about not getting in a fight and sharing a cab with a guy and like falling in love on the ride." So, could that guy be Styles? Maybe, if Duff had her way.
"I might go with an unknown or an up-and-comer would be cool just to give the song even more of a quirky feel," Duff said. "But secretly, I really love Harry Styles, but he's kind of busy with One Direction - I know this - but I am a secret 1D fan."
One Direction and Styles are currently on tour right now. Their next stop is in El Paso, Texas on Friday.
