Gabrielle Union is the latest celebrity to fall victim to what the Internet is referring to as "The Fappening."  Basically, her nudes have been leaked and rightfully so the newlywed is completely mortified.  Over the weekend, she and her NBS star husband released a joint statement to express their frustration and embarrassment to their fans.

Dwyane Wade Does His First Interview Since Marrying Gabrielle Union! Aww!

"It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures," the couple wrote in an exclusive statement to TMZ.

It continued, "I can't help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide."

Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade Make the Cutest 'Honeymooners!' See the Photos!

Wade and Union just returned from their international honeymoon getaway and already have to deal with a whole new batch of celebrity drama.  Unfortunately, they were not the only celebrities targeted this weekend.  Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens and Meagan Good also had their private photos exposed.

So far, there have been no reports of any leads regarding the hacker(s) who are responsible for this.  But, Union and Wade have requested that the FBI look into this before it gets worse than it already is.

The couple concluded their statement in support of others, writing, "For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes - We send our love, support and prayers. We have done nothing wrong."

The statement raised a great point.  Why are women the only people being attacked?  For sure, male celebrities have taken pictures too and for some reason, their pictures are not being exposed in the same manner.
