Even though Forest Whitaker tells Liam Neeson that everyone will be coming after him, it doesn't seem to matter to this action hero as he fights for "the one thing he has left."

Liam Neeson Reveals That Third 'Taken' Will Be The Last One, Renamed 'Tak3n'

The first trailer for Tak3n was released on Tuesday and it features Neeson returning as Brian Mills to face one last test.

Tak3n follows Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police.

Is 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Going To Be The End For Some Of The Key Characters?

For one last time, Mills must use his "particular set of skills," to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now - his daughter.

The trailer plays like most of the other Taken movies, with Neeson taking down literally every person who is thrust in front of him. It looks like this movie will ditch the premise that made the first two movies popular and will have Neeson on the run trying to clear his name rather than having to recover a family member.

Neeson's latest action efforts have brought back solid returns and maybe his last fight in the Taken franchise will lead to better reception than the second movie.

The film is set to be directed by Olivier Megaton from a script by original director Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. The film also stars Famke Janssen, Maggie Grace, Dogray Scott, Sam Spruell, Leland Orser.

Tak3n hits theaters on January 9, 2015.
