Ray Donovan To Return With Season 3 In July 2015?

Hallels reported that Ray's escapades will be presented to fans in 12 potent doses.

The promo clip runs for about 20-seconds and features Ray (Liev Schreiber), Mickey (Jon Voight) and Abby (Paula Malcomson). "You don't know who you are anymore, Ray," a male voice-over rolls in the backdrop, as a few instances from season 2 compose the teaser.

While no date for the next season has been revealed yet, Bustle predicts that the series will be back in July 2015. This is inferred from the fact that the last two seasons also premiered around the same time of year. The cast and crew are expected to be back in Calbasas in early 2015 to begin filming for the third season.

Not to spoil the finale for fans who haven't quite gotten to it, but this much can be said, it's going to shock and suprise.

In a recent interview, Vinessa Shaw, who plays Boston Globe reporter Kate on the Showtime series, had revealed that the season 2 finale was going to be "huge."

Speaking to The Wrap, the actress stated that the "unexpected" would happen in the concluding episode of the Showtime series.

"As per last season, Ray Donovan is really good at making something huge happen by the end of the season, and this is exactly what is going to happen," she said. "The unexpected is going to happen, and people are going to have...something happen to them."

The season 2 finale of Ray Donovan aired on Sunday, September 27 at 8 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
