It’s been a year since Alex and Sierra won X Factor USA and now the real-life couple released their debut album, It’s About Us, on Tuesday. The singers took to Twitter to reveal what they did to celebrate their big accomplishment.

"People keep asking what we did to celebrate when our album released,” the couple tweeted on Tuesday. “We watched galaxy quest & school of rock & ate sushi. #werejustkids,” they added in reference to the song Just Kids from the album.

The two have a lot to be excited about since the debut already topped the charts in South Africa and Brazil and is currently No. 3 on the iTunes Top Albums chart.

"On the show we did all covers, and it was exciting to do that," Sierra told Fuse a day before the album’s release. “It's definitely a different feeling to create something that didn't exist before and have everyone listening to it."

The couple also dished on their song Cheating, which focuses on infidelity. “I think we wanted people to get that we weren’t always a serious, really depressing couple because on the show we did so many sad songs and everyone always thought we were breaking up and we wanted people to know we are lighthearted," Sierra said.
