It seems like all hell is going to break loose once Iron Man and Captain America duke it out in the next standalone movie for the latter hero. But could this mean the destruction of the Avengers and make fans have to pick sides on different heroes in the group?

With the recent Marvel news spilling over, Badass Digest discussed on Monday what they believe the studio will do with this new Civil War plot and how it will be different from the comic book story.

The site says that while the comic book arc is more about the revelation of the identity of superheroes, they believe the movie arc will deal with the ramifications of being a superhero since there really isn't an identity to be brought out unless they include Spider-Man or Daredevil. The story will deal more with Iron Man and Captain America clashing on this ideal.

They go on to say that the story will be interesting as it has the very selfish Tony Stark finally seeing his responsibility to the world, while the soldier Steve Rogers realizes that power cannot be centralized under authority. This position would actually align Cap with the framers of the Constitution, who were terribly suspicious of the idea of a standing army.

It adds that right now the predicted title of Captain America 3 is Captain America: Fallen Son. This doesn't seclude the whole movie to the Civil War plot line and keeps the ideals of the story in check because the site believes that the phases of Marvel so far are broken up like this.

Phase 1 is all about introductions and getting the characters and Avengers settled in the world. Phase 2 comes in and continues the individual stories of each hero, but tests all of them together during the events of Avengers 2.

Phase 3 will be about the heroes dealing with the final conflicts of their own stories and then being tested as a group. The good feelings have been established enough to make this shattering of The Avengers carry a lot of weight. Phase 4 will have all of the heroes having to put differences aside and come together to face Thanos.

If this is the path they are going, be ready for a massive scale universe being created.
