So many secrets and lies have been told to keep him from learning the truth, but Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will finally hear the truth about his father's murder on General Hospital.

Michael's Life Is Put Into Grave Danger

His father, A.J. was murdered months ago, and Michael has been of the belief that Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) shot and killed him during a robbery. He has been unaware of the fact that his adoptive father, Sonny (Maurice Bernard) is the one who actually pulled the trigger-though several others have been thoroughly aware of the truth.

And while plans have been put into place over the last few months to keep Michael from hearing the truth from those closest to him, no one thought to keep Carlos' former fiancée, Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) from visiting him in prison and stumbling across at least part of the truth herself-and they certainly didn't plan to keep her quiet.

Sonny Makes Plans To 'Take Out' Franco

Now, after Michael's request that she help run the memorial center he is planning in A.J.'s memory, Sabrina will slip that Carlos genuinely wasn't the one who shot and killed his father-and Michael will be stunned when he realizes the murderer is still out there.

"If Carlos Rivera didn't kill my father than who did?" he asks Sabrina in a preview clip for the Monday, October 20 episode.

Sabrina may not be able to completely tell him the truth (she and Carlos believe Ava committed the murder) but if she can convince him of Carlos' innocence, it could force Michael to dig deeper and figure out the real story.

However, as he slowly begins figuring out the truth, Sonny is working to find a way to keep his secret from being exposed to Michael-by murdering Franco (Roger Howarth). If the people who know the real truth continue to be eliminated before the truth comes out, Michael will never have the ability to avenge his father's death.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
