Mattie Injured In Four-Wheeler Accident--Find Out How She's Doing!!

The official synopsis for both the previously announced Thanksgiving and Christmas specials gas been released by CMT, and in true Party Down South fashion, fans will be able to look forward to drunken shenanigans and maybe even a few epic fights when the cast reunited to spend the holidays together.

"This Thanksgiving, America's most adored dysfunctional redneck family comes together to count their blessings, pound shots and catch up on their fighting in Party Down South:Drunksgiving," the official synopsis from CMT reads. "Since they consider themselves family, the entire cast decided Thanksgiving should be spent with each other. And what a better way to do this than spending a few wild nights together under one roof, funneling beer, deep frying turkeys and reflecting on all the things they're thankful for-like marlins, sharks and the beerzooka."

The official statement from CMT about the holiday specials also revealed details about what fans will see when the cast's Christmas special airs one month after the Thanksgiving one.

"As for Christmas, it's anything but normal for the Party Down South crew," the statement read. "Whether it's Lyle's duck call caroling, Lauren's tacky sweater party, Murray getting his annual Christmas tattoo or Mattie ringing in 2015 as 'Martha,' they definitely hare some off-the-wall redneck family holiday traditions during Party Down South: Christmas Hangover."

Since the news that the cast was filming two holiday specials broke, the name of the Thanksgiving special has changed (it was previously titled as Thanksgiving 'Til It Hurts), and both specials were given new air times-moving their broadcasts up two hours earlier than normal.

Where the cast filmed the holiday specials has not been revealed, though they all did reunite in Los Angeles earlier in October, sparking reports that they may have been filming the specials somewhere other than in the Southern states.

They may also have filmed the specials while preparing episodes for their upcoming third season, which was shot in Mississippi.

Drunksgiving airs Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. on CMT, while Christmas Hangover is scheduled to air Dec. 18 at the same time. The show's third season is scheduled to premiere in January.
