With the Hunger Games finishing up soon and a third X-Men movie on the way, is Jennifer Lawrence going to be done with franchise for awhile or will the starlet look to the latter to find a new solo series that could work within their new universe?

Is The Original Cast Of 'X-Men' Set To Return Again In 'Apocalypse?'

Lawrence is a big money maker and while it is probably strenuous to be working on two franchises at a time, one of them is concluding soon and another is probably done with her character moving forward. So with nothing in the future, could she stay around X-Men to make some more movies and keep her blockbuster power?

X-Men is currently working to create a universe with their mutants with standalone movies for such characters as Deadpool and possibly Quicksilver on the way. But what about Mystique? She has been around since the beginning of the movies and has since been revived with Lawrence's performance.

'Pitch Perfect' Star Could Make 'X-Men' Her Next Franchise

It could work. Her character is constantly on the run and doing her own thing. A standalone movie could focus on the adventures she has on her own and the fights she gets herself into. There is the other possibility that her son, Nightcrawler, could appear in the next movie, which could start a mini team-up between the mother/son duo.

It also would allow Lawrence to keep a franchise brewing in Hollywood without having to do too much of the heavy lifting like she did with Hunger Games. Having an X-Men solo film keeps her in the universe, could make her big bucks, and give the actress the chance to build this character through multiple films like Hugh Jackman with Wolverine.
