The Loyal singer, who said he will never repeat the same mistake again, said he feels he’s apologized enough for the incident.

“I feel like through the years I’ve said it enough,” the 25-year-old said. “Obviously I have remorse about it and it’s something that’s really serious. As far as the situation, me and her, we made amends.”

The 25-year-old also discussed his controversial reunion with Rihanna and admitted that he was “moved” seeing his ex-girlfriend speak candidly about their relationship during an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2012. During the interview, Rihanna revealed that she had forgiven Brown and still loved him.

“Now she’s showing me that she cares,” he recalled feeling after seeing the interview. “At the end of the day that’s when I knew we could be friends and talk. There wasn't a barrier.”

Yet, the romantic reunion between Brown and Rihanna didn’t last long and she briefly moved on to another star - Drake. Brown admitted that he was angry by the relationship and felt she may have started a relationship with the rapper to spite him. However, despite the initial aggression between Drake and Brown, the two ended their drama with a spoof at the ESPYS in July.

“It just shows growth and maturity," Brown said about the spoof. "I just wanted that to be portrayed."

Brown also seems to have moved on romantically. The singer expressed his love for his on-and-off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran, with whom he's been involved with for roughly five years.

"Being in this industry you just need somebody that understands you," he said. "At the end of the day, me and her have a real connection as best friends on top of our intimacy."
