A new report states that the new autobots and decepticons set to feature in Transformers 5 have been leaked, and they include the likes of Ultra Magnus, Red Alert, Clyclonus and Scourge.

Release Date For Transformers 5 Revealed?  

The report sources the information from Comic Central City. It states that Ultra Magnus, Red Alert, and Override are the new Autobots, and the new decepticons will enlist Cyclonus, Scourge, and Blitzwing, who will assist Galvatron. As Optimus Prime will be off to meet his creator in Cybertron, these autobots are likely to hold fort on earth and fight the decepticons.

The same report also suggests that the Quintessons, who created the Transformers race, will be the prime villains in the sequel to Age of Extinction. The report states that the Quintessons were the ones that created Cybertron. Toward the end of Age of Extinction Optimus Prime was headed to Cybertron to meet his creators.

First Real-Life Autobot Prototype Created

Many believed that the sequel would be set in Cybertron and there were a lot of theories being suggested to corroborate that. But in a recent interview, producer Lorenzo de Bonaventura revealed that it was more likely that the saga will continue to unfold on mortal land and there were no plans to set it in space. In fact Bonaventura also stated that the setting for Transformers 5 will be very similar to that of Age of Extinction.

The fifth instalment in the action franchise has been immersed in a swirl of rumors and uncertainties of late. Most recently it was confirmed that Michael Bay was officially moving on from the franchise as he signed on to do a different Transformers movie.

Variety reported that the director has signed on to helm a Paramount movie based on the book, Thirteen Hours: A Firsthand Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi by Mitchell Zuckoff. The book investigates the terrorist strike on the U.S. Special Mission Compound & CIA Annex in Benghazi. 

Transformers: Age of Extinction hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
