The highly anticipated 200th episode of Fox's Bones is set to offer many surprises, including the return of one of the biggest villains in the history of the show.
The 200th episode is slated to feature the return of Pelant (Andrew Leeds), the serial killer whose reign of terror ended in Season 9. Leeds is guest starring in this episode, according to a new report by TVLine, in addition to others from the past, such as squintern Wendell (Michael Grant Terry), squinter Clark (Eugene Byrd), squinter Arastoo (Pej Vahdat) and Scott (Michael Badalucco).
This episode, titled The 200th in the 10th, is set to be a tribute to legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock.
Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan spoke about the episode previously with TVLine, revealing that it is not necessarily an alternate reality episode, though it does pay tribute to Hitchcock's suspenseful style.
"It's not an alternate reality, it's as if Booth and Brennan existed in this world - would they still get together?" Nathan explained. "Everyone is sort of playing their own characters."
Reportedly, the episode will feature "vintage cars, different sets and all those old processed shots they did in the 50s. It's going to be a Technicolor spectacular," Nathan revealed.
This episode is set to air on Thursday, Dec. 11. It remains to be seen what movies the episode will be referencing, but they definitely have a lot to choose from, including Psycho, Vertigo, North by Northwest, The Birds, Rear Window and many more.
Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
