Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan spoke about the episode previously with TVLine, revealing that it is not necessarily an alternate reality episode, though it does pay tribute to Hitchcock's suspenseful style.

"It's not an alternate reality, it's as if Booth and Brennan existed in this world - would they still get together?" Nathan explained. "Everyone is sort of playing their own characters."

Reportedly, the episode will feature "vintage cars, different sets and all those old processed shots they did in the 50s. It's going to be a Technicolor spectacular," Nathan revealed.

This episode is set to air on Thursday, Dec. 11. It remains to be seen what movies the episode will be referencing, but they definitely have a lot to choose from, including Psycho, Vertigo, North by Northwest, The Birds, Rear Window and many more.

Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
