The refresher is likely in anticipation of the new episodes, which will begin production in March.

When last left, Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) had finally learned the truth about Miller Beck's murder. Then of course there was Branch (Bailey Chase), who may or may not have been murdered by his own father after making some unfortunate discoveries about the family business.

Fans had worried that the result of that final gunshot would never be known, but with the show's revival they will find get the answers they are looking for. Producers have admitted to knowing where they intend to take the new episodes, and so it is only a matter of time before the writers get to work. With so many loose ends, the series has a lot of ground to cover.

Longmire will likely return on Netflix for a fourth season during the second half of 2015.
