The axed A&E crime drama Longmire will ride again next year for a fourth season thanks to Netflix, which gave reason to celebrate during Monday night's "Twitter Stampede."

'Longmire' Cast & Fans To Celebrate Netflix Pickup

The subscription service signed a deal with Warner Horizon last week for season 4, which will include 10 all-new episodes.

'Longmire' Star Robert Taylor 'Overjoyed' For 4th Season

Originally designed to save the series, the Twitter stampede turned into one big party Monday night as cast and crew voiced their thoughts on the past, present and future of the show. According to A. Martinez (Jacob), the cast knew from day one that Longmire was going to be a special experience.

While many from the cast have extended their thanks to the fans, actress Louanne Stephens extended appreciation to author Craig Johnson during the stampede. Author of the Longmire novels on which the series is based, Johnson is responsible for having created the characters who have captured the hearts of so many viewers.

Actor Lou Diamond Phillips (Henry) used the stampede opportunity to thank Netflix, thrilled to see the "saga" continue.

Longmire is scheduled to begin production in March, which means the show will likely return on Netflix for its fourth season sometime during the second half of 2015.
