Jyoti Amge's character Ma Petite has become one of the most popular characters on FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show, but the actress admitted that she does not like it when people act like she is a baby.

Amge portrays Ma Petite on Freak Show, the world's smallest woman and a performer in the titular freak show in Jupiter, Fla. The actress recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight to discuss other people's perception of her and what she doesn't like when they interact with her.

"When people see me on TV, they become very happy because they don't have to interact with me," Amge admitted to ET, with a Hindi translator. "When they start interacting with me they ask me questions like I'm a baby or treat me like I'm a baby and hold me like I'm a baby, and that's what they do wrong, really."

The Ma Petite character is actually held like a baby on several occasions during Freak Show, but obviously this is just acting. The character has received rave reviews from the show's fans, as she is one of the only ones with a true innocent spirit.

Amge's translator spoke to what the show asks her to do and how it differs from "normal" acting.

"In American Horror Story she has to act but it's not normal acting. She has to get in cages and boxes and other things and pumpkins and that's the most fun part about working in this show and she doesn't know what's about to happen from episode to episode."

As for the Freak Show title, Amge's translator revealed that she was okay with it.

"She didn't have any reservations because even though the name of the show is Freak Show nobody is a freak here."

Unfortunately, Ma Petite met a tragic fate at the end of the latest episode of American Horror Story when Dell (Michael Chiklis) killed her in order to protect his secret homosexuality.

The character's spirit will continue to live on through the fans, who can remember her many wonderful moments from her run on the show.
