Last week A&E's Longmire found a new home on Netflix, which gave cast, crew and fans something to be pretty thankful for when Thanksgiving rolled around on Thursday.

'Longmire' Might Return One Star Short For Season 4

The cast took a break from promoting the popular crime drama's Netflix revival to talk family, football and Turkey on Twitter Thursday.

'Longmire' Season 4 Spoilers

Writer Tony Tost shared a photo of him and series star Robert Taylor (Walt) in wishing fans a Happy Thanksgiving.

The Longmire writers are likely soaking up the relaxation this week, because pretty soon they will be back to work setting up the new episodes. Producers have long boasted a plan for season 4, though they've only shared potential storylines with the networks on which they'd hoped to bring the series. For now, however, Tost was content to talk football and spend time with his sons.

The popular crime drama was saved by Netflix last week after the subscription service elected to pick up the axed A&E drama for a new season. Production is set to begin in March.

Longmire will likely return on Netflix for a fourth season during the second half of 2015.
