While that's one competitor that Is had to deal with, there is also Emily who was known as his rival. Despite the fact that they may have had some complications, Is pointed out that things are better between them.

"I think she's learned a lot and has been evolving into a better person and artist..let's how she keeps it up!" he said.

When Is was in the interlocking challenge, he revealed that he tattooed mistakes to catch up with Emily's tattoo, according to the site.

"I wanted our canvas to have a tattoo she liked...and I didn't want her arms to look like a battle, it's not fair for her, so the competition took a back seat to our canvases happiness," the artist explained.

As for how Is became a contestant on the series, it was a simple process.

"They called me...I said yes," he said.
