Allison Williams transformed into Peter Pan on Thursday night for the live NBC production and several fellow celebrities praised the actress and the show.

The live show, which also featured Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, garnered 9.1 viewers. It’s a little less than half of the viewers who tuned into the live production of The Sound of Music last year with Carrie Underwood, but the chairman of NBC said he isn't disappointed.

"We didn't expect to reach the same rating as The Sound of Music since that was the first live movie event of its kind in over 50 years," Robert Greenblatt said in a statement. "But the high wire act of Peter Pan was a joy for everyone involved and I take my hat off to Allison Williams, Christopher Walken, the entire company, and our incredible directors and producers for three months of the hardest work I've ever seen. I love these live events and we're already working on putting the next one together."
