There is no doubt that Jennifer Aniston is having one of the best years of her life. The 45-year-old actress is not only engaged to her fiancé Justin Theroux, but she's also getting rave reviews for her performance in the film Cake, which has so far earned her a Golden Globe nomination.

The Hollywood star recently opened up to Allure Magazine about her personal life, including Theroux and her relationship with Brad Pitt's ex-girlfriend, Gwyneth Paltrow.

As far as Theroux, Aniston admits that the couple talk about wedding plans "all the time," adding, "We're equals. He's a nurturer. He is so fiercely loyal. Beyond protective. I mean, the way he takes care of our dogs, he takes care of me, he takes care of friends."

As far as her unlikely friendship with Paltrow, Aniston says, "I've known her a long time. That woman has got style to the moon and back. Chic, effortless, gorgeous. This sums us up. Look, I'm in a T-shirt, jeans, and 400-year-old shoes, and this one is just, like, to a T. She's always been sweet to me."

Meanwhile, Aniston has revealed that she is always looking for "challenging" roles in her work.

According to Yahoo News on Monday, Aniston recently sat down with actresses Jessica Chastain, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Shailene Woodley and Emily Blunt in a round-table discussion about their films.

She said, "I'm always trying to find the great small roles; the stronger sort of slice of life, complex. And I've been doing fart jokes for a long time, which I love immensely, but I think it does allow you to sort of take care of business and then you can also spend the time with these little labors of love which I've come to discover you sometimes have to create for yourself."
