MTv's Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans celebrated her birthday on Friday with family and a whole lot of celebrating.

Wearing the necklace boyfriend Nathan Griffith had surprised her with earlier this year, Evans posted a selfie Thursday as she wished herself a happy 23rd birthday.

The photo was likely taken as Griffith revealed a "surprise" to Evans, which he'd promised to do the night before she turned 23

In addition to celebrating her own birthday, Evans also got to celebrate the birth of a close friend's child. The mother of two was thrilled to announce that one of her friends was being induced on her birthday, which means the child will share a birthday with the MTV star.

This birthday is also significant because it could be Evans' last as a single woman. Earlier this month she and Griffith moved into a new house with their son, five-month-old Kaiser. The pair have been taking for months now about spending their lives together and Griffith might just be close to popping the question.

Evans has yet to disclose the rest of her birthday plans, though she will likely post more photos has she uploads them.

Teen Mom 2 returns on MTV for a sixth season in 2015.
