A new movie still featuring the kickoff of the race wars in Furious 7 was revealed on December 23.

The image was posted on a Furious 7 Facebook fan page, and captures a scene right before the cars are charged up to go with people cheering on the sidelines, under a clear blue sky.

Recently, another movie still of Michelle Rodriguez raging behind the wheel as Letty Ortiz in Furious 7 was also revealed. 

The image which was revealed via a community Facebook page for the movie, shows Rodriguez's transition as Letty from the first Fast and Furious movie in 2001 to the fiesty driver in 2015. In the first image Rodriguez is seen all done up, looking pretty wearing dark glasses, with her haird done well. In the other picture for Furious 7 she wears a spare look, looking on with a lot of aggression, her teeth clenched.

The 36-year-old actress, who plays the part of Letty Ortiz in Furious 7, spoke to The Evening Standard about how Paul Walker's death and her volatile relationships this year, have taken their toll on her and she feels the need to step back and take stock of things.

"This year has been too much and I need some time out," she said. "I've been working hard and now I want time off. That's what I do. Work hard, play hard. I don't think that's much to ask or want."

The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Vin Diesel, Rodriguez, Luke Evans, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

Furious 7 will hit theaters in April 3, 2015.
