The National Hurricane Center is seeking to find the center of the Tropical Storm Isaac. Examiner reports that the National Hurricane Center stated that the center of the storm "reformed" to a different location and after evaluating satellite images, it may reform again. Because of the storms unpredictable route, an exact estimate of Isaac's severity in Tampa cannot be measured just yet. However, as meteorologist consider the path of other storms of 2012, Isaac may not be as strong as forecast models have suggested.

"In face just a few days ago, Isaac was expected to become a Category 2 or 3 storm. Now it is looking more like a Category 1 at best when it reaches Florida," Justin Berk wrote in an article for Examiner.

Currently, Tropical Storm Isaac's path indicates movement towards the west of Tampa by Tuesday. With this western movement, meteorologist hope Isaac will remain on the left and not curve earlier into Tampa.

The Republican National Convention is scheduled to take place in Tampa on Monday, August 27.

Thus far, the event has not been cancelled or delayed. RNC spokesman, James Davis, assures everyone that Hurricane Isaac is being evaluated and everyone's safety will be protected.

"We will release information as we get it. Right now we are looking forward to having a great convention," Davis said. "We are confident we will be able to get the business done of our convention which is to nominate Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan."

If Tampa experiences the best case scenario in the Hurricane Isaac path predictions, the convention would not have to be cancelled, Max Golembo, and ABC meteorologist said. In the most favorable case, Tampa would endure 30 mph winds and approximately 1 inch of rainfall.

"Pack an umbrella at least and maybe a poncho and galoshes, but don't quite break out the boats and don't start building the arc," Golembo said.
