The first tweet on the page read: "Hello from Kensington Palace! Welcome to our new Twitter account."

That first tweet got 883 retweets, 1,646 favorites and several replies. Fans were loving the tweet and responded in some interesting ways.

"This is AWESOME," wrote Jess W.

"Welcome to the Twittersphere," said Janie Flores.

They've tweeted out a few pictures so far. The first photo they posted was a photo of a palace with a tweet that read: "Prince Harry and @carmeloanthony will meet London and Glasgow #Coachore graduates at St Jame's Palace."

According to the site, the account @BritishMonarchy has been around since 2009 and it sends out news and updates from Buckingham Palace on much of the royal family. The account @ClarenceHouse appeared in 2010 and sends out news on Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
